The Assurance is Goodyear's mid-tier Passenger All-Season tire designed for the drivers of cars, coupes, vans and crossover vehicles looking for dependable tires at affordable prices with wet traction as one of their top priorities. The Assurance is designed to provide year-round confidence in wet, dry and wintry weather conditions, including in light snow. The Assurance molds an all-season compound into a tread design featuring distinct zones. Inboard and outboard Dry Tread Zones feature strong shoulder blocks to enhance handling in dry conditions, while a central Wet Tread Zone features Dual Aquachannel grooves that evacuate water to promote traction in wet weather. A virtually continuous notched center rib combined with circumferential shoulder grooves blend dry road stability and even treadwear with traction in snowy conditions. The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts (H-speed rated sizes are reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon belt edge strips) on top of a polyester carcass that enhances ride quality.

Great tires for my Altima. They are an all season passenger tire, so don't expect race track performance, but if you're like me and just need a smooth quiet tire to get around town, the Assurance is for you. I find them to be just as smooth and quiet compared to the Michelin's I had on before, but they came at a much better price. Overall an excellent tire for the money, with emphasis on smooth quiet ride.
