Tire Description

The Eagle F1 A/S-C is Goodyear's Ultra High Performance All-Season radial originally developed for Original Equipment use on sport versions of the Toyota Matrix and Pontiac Vibe. The Eagle F1 A/S-C was designed to provide all-season traction on dry, wet and wintry roads, including in light snow. The Eagle F1 A/S-C feature an all-season tread compound molded into a directional tread design that combines large shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib to provide predictable handling and maintain constant road contact to enhance straight-line tracking. Four circumferential grooves resist hydroplaning while high angle notches and engineered sipes in the intermediate ribs blend all-season wet and wintertime traction in light snow. The tire's internal structure includes twin, high-tensile steel belts reinforced with spirally wound nylon to blend high-speed durability with uniform ride quality.

Bought these to replace the OEM Summer only tires. Price was a driving factor, but also performance. The stock tires were great on dry pavement but didn't last very long at all. Hi-Po Summer only with a treadwear of 140 I didn't expect much, but for the money, IMO are way over priced. These Goodyear F1's are amazingly quiet and ride great. Handling is exceptional. I still can't get over how much quieter than the stock tires they are. It's such a welcomed relief too. If you have a MazdaSpeed and want all season capability with great handling, sharp appearance and with less road noise, these are your tires. I love them!
