The Eagle F1 GS EMT (Extended Mobility Technology) is Goodyear's Ultra High Performance Summer self-supporting run-flat tire developed for C5 Corvette coupes, convertibles and hardtops. Featuring Goodyear's Extended Mobility Technology, these tires provide temporary mobility even after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. The Eagle F1 GS EMT is designed to blend wet and dry traction with treadwear, however like all summer tires, it is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice. The Eagle F1 GS EMT molds Goodyear's AATRAX tread compound into a directional tread design. Large shoulder blocks, continuous center ribs and a multi-radius profile offer confident steering and uniform wear while dual race-bred Aquachannels help provide efficient water evacuation to promote wet traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wound nylon overlays and an angled ply carcass to combine disturbance-free operation with high-speed durability. The tire's reinforced sidewalls are capable of temporarily supporting the weight of the vehicle even after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. NOTE: Extended Mobility Technology tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.

Used these tires on 97 'Vette wheels on this truck. What a difference! I can't stand to drive the truck without these tires any more! Wet traction is incredible, seemingly better than dry. I couldn't hydroplane in the ocean if I tried, and they hold up well to ritual abuse. I also love the run-flat feature, as it gives you peace of mind. I had the unfortunate pleasure of running these tires in Michigan snow (I know they are not designed for it) and had to practice extreme patience to stay out of a ditch. Just thought you should know. Overall, an unbelievable performance tire that lasts!
