High Performance All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of a sporty appearance, predictable handling and H- or V-speed rated durability along with all-season traction, including in light snow. High Performance All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sports cars, sporty coupes and performance sedans. O.E. High Performance All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications.

A great OEM tire for my 2004 330xi. I'm surprised with the bad reviews however the reviews have also been on various car manufacturers other than BMW. I've lived in Summit County Colorado for over two years and was impressed with how well they handled in fresh snow and snowpacked roads. There isn't really ice other than snow packed roads so I can't really say on how well these would do on ice. Living in Maryland all my life, I haven't particulary found any tire to perform well on icy roads. Pros: the ride is extremely quiet. Cons: Steering Response could be better. These tires had some life left in them at 43,000 miles however the back right tire had worn unevenly compared to the other three. I probably could have had the alignment done more frequently and rotated them more often to extend the life of the tires. I replaced all four tires yesterday with the same tire since I was overall happy with them. I would be curious to what others had to say about these tires on other BMW's.
