The Fortera SL Edition is Goodyear's Street/Sport Truck All-Season tire developed in large rim diameter sizes for crossover and sport utility vehicles, as well as light-duty pickup trucks. The Fortera SL is designed to blend style and performance with year-round traction, even in light snow. Fortera SL tires feature a longwearing tread compound molded into a directional tread design with a continuous center rib that promotes even treadwear while large wrap-around shoulder blocks provide responsive handling. Circumferential and lateral grooves help pump water to resist hydroplaning while sipes in the tread block increase the number of biting edges to enhance traction in light snow. The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to combine durability with high-speed capability.

What can I say, I LOVE these tires. I had another brand w/a 420 UTQG rating & weren't happy with them at all. They were at times unresponsive, had bad traction in rainy weather & wore down extremely fast for my taste. I was really considering going back to my factory tires when it was time to replace them until I ran across the Goodyear Fortera. After reading all of the reviews, analyzing all of the ratings & not believing the price (well under $1000 for a complete set) I made my decision. I have always known that Goodyear & other reputable brands who have been around for decades stand behind their brand so I figured I'd try these before getting rid of the 22" wheels. I like flash of the wheels to complete the look of my truck but I refuse to sacrifice the comfort of my ride in the process. I can honestly say that if you are SERIOUS about a great set of tires with very attractive look, this is the tire for you. They are extremely quiet, respond great at corners, don?t slide when stopping, go over bumps w/out a hitch & are an absolute DREAM on the highway. Just a side note, with 3000-5000 criss-cross rotation, these tires could quite possible last 75,000 miles. I told my wife, this is a product I can truly stand by & wished everyone knew about them. Goodyear, you did your thing when you made this brand, keep up the good work.
